The drive will be available in 1TB and 2TB sizes, and will be 5Gpbs-capable, thanks to its USB 3.0 connection. You’ll be able to pick up the 1TB version for $180, which doesn’t sound unreasonable. While the drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, you’ll obviously want USB 3.0, but if you don’t have USB 3.0 on your computer, WD is offering the drives with a USB 3.0 card for an extra $20.
