Everyone loves bigger viewing real estate, if not monitors would not grow in size over the years (while getting slimmer, which is a good thing). After a while though, a compromise must be met, and this is where multiple monitors come in. Matrix does what it does best with the new DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go Graphics eXpansion Module (GXM) which can support up to four or half a dozen monitors, respectively, via a solitary system. A second GXM can be hooked up to the secondary output of a supported dual monitor graphics card, which would mean a couple of DualHead2Go GXMs are able to power up to four outputs in 2×2 or 4×1 modes. Simple mathematics also dictate that two TripleHead2Go units can also work together to connect six displays to produce either a 3×2 or 6×1 set up. It won’t cost you an arm and a leg, either, as it starts from $169 upwards.
