[CES 2010] The touchscreen revolution is well underway even where digital cameras are concerned, and the latest among these would be the Kodak Slice which doubles up as an impromptu digital photo album as well. You get 2GB of internal memory, alongside a 3.5″ LCD touchscreen display with anti-reflective coating and 16:9 aspect ratio. Photos can be captured in high detail thanks to its 14-megapixel CCD sensor with a 5x Schneider-Kreuznach lens, coupled with optical Image Stabilization for clearer images even when your hands are having the jitters. Another interesting point about the Slice would be its Smart Find technology that allows one to instantly locate photos through the use of Kodak Face Recognition – neat, eh? Wonder whether this functions well after you’ve gotten yourself into a nasty accident. You get one-button upload capability as well to YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Kodak Gallery and e-mail without having to go through pesky conversion processes. The Kodak Slice will be out later this April for $349.99 apiece.
