[CES 2010] Iomega has plans to light up CES with their latest ScreenPlay device – the ScreenPlay Director HD Media Player. This feature-rich HD media player makes it a snap to browse through your home network for content that can be viewed on the TV, while incorporating the Roxio CinemaNow entertainment platform that allows consumers to buy or rent movies and access other premium entertainment right off the Internet in the comfort of your living room (or wherever else you decide to place the TV). Featuring full 1080p high definition playback at 24fps and up to 1TB of storage space for your media files, the DivX Home Theatre-certified ScreenPlay Director HD Media Player also supports a range of the most popular codecs and file typs including H.264, WMV and MKV among others. Working with both PC and Mac platforms, the ScreenPlay Director is DLNA compatible and Wi-Fi ready as well. Interested? It will be out in the US later this month for $249.
