It looks like Windows Mobile phones aren’t the only ones which are experiencing glitches thanks to the 2010. While most we worrying about the Y2K bug, we managed to get into the year 2000 without too much fuss, the same can’t be said for the systems at the Bank of Queensland which were trying to enter the year 2010 (or 2016 in this case). A bug has borked credit card transactions for thousands of Australian shops for a few days now, thanks to the systems stating that it’s 2016, making most debit cards appear as though they’re expired. The banks has provided a way to manually process payments at the moment, and are looking to sort it out, and hopefully they will manage to sort it out soon, after all, not being able to accept credit cards will certainly be bad for business.
