Pioneer has a couple of iPod speaker systems heading Stateside – the XW-NAS3 and XW-NAS5, where they both will boast 2.1-channel audio with an integrated downfiring subwoofer, an integrated iPod dock, component and composite video outputs, a remote control and an auxiliary input. If you decide to use it with the AS-BT100 Bluetooth adapter, fret not – it works equally well, too. Apart from that, the NAS5 will come with Pioneer’s Advanced Sound Receiver processing that offers improved sound from compressed files and Auto Level Control that helps monitor volume level from track to track. No word on pricing is available for either speaker system.
