NVIDIA has just announced its NVIDIA GeForce 205 low-end graphic card which sports 8 stream processors (high-end cards have 240 or more). This card will probably be fairly suitable for folks who want to build a (very) simple computer, but with some basic video capabilities. This graphic card sports a 589MHz graphics clock, 1402MHz processor clock, 512MB DDR2 memory, Microsoft DirectX 10.1 support, VGA port, DisplayPort, DVI and even HDMI (albeit via a dongle). If you’re building a simple budget computer, you might want to check out this graphics card before you make your final decision. We haven’t tested it, but from what we’ve heard, critics complain that performance is so low that integrated graphics could be good enough (and mostly free).
