Want to get more information on your car? Well, by next year, Garmin’s Nuvis will be able to get diagnostic data from your car, thanks it an EcoRoutes ESP module. The module will be small enough that you can stash it somewhere behind your dashboard, and will interact with the Nuvi via Bluetooth. The ESP module will connect to and is powered by the ODB-II diagnostics port on your vehicle. After everything is setup, you’ll be able to customize which gauges you want to see on the display, and even set alerts for each one, allowing you to track things like real-time fuel economy, emissions, intake air temperature, coolant temperature amongst a couple of other things.
