Credit card fraud is something that we’ve heard of for a long time now, but it is comforting to know that those in authority are doing something about it. Emue Technologies has improved on their anti-fraud credit card by combining a world first embedded 14-segment E Ink display with a 12-button numeric keypad, microprocessor and battery which can last for up to three years (!), all these in spite of it being similar in size to that of a standard credit card. Before a phone or online transaction is approved, users must enter the transaction information and a relevant PIN with the keypad in order to generate a one-time-only authentication code that appears on the E-Ink display.
