Asus originally wanted to release a 11.6″ Eee PC 1101HA with Windows Vista Home Premium, but scrapped that plan due to the debut of Windows 7. This has resulted in a Windows 7 Home Premium edition known as the Eee PC 1101HA-WP. Among the improved specifications would include 2GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive, although it would retain the slowpoke Intel Atom Z520 processor and GMA 500 graphcis chipset. Battery rating seems to have dropped to 8 hours from the original 11 hours though. Out in Japan later this month in black or white colors, you can pick it up for around $610 after conversion although the US version is tipped to be cheaper.
