Motorola Droid for Verizon Wireless

Looks like the Motorola Sholes, also known as the Tao, won’t be known by either name when it appears on Verizon Wireless, but will be called the Motorola Droid instead. Perhaps that is because it will run on the Android operating system from Google, and it has been confirmed that MOTOBLUR won’t be available with this. Ah well, at least you get built-in native Adobe Flash support to help make your mobile surfing experience all the more enjoyable. Seems that the Motorola Droid will come in black and titanium colors, with whispers of a keyboard-less version rolling out sometime next year.
