The latest high end portable media player from Philips would be the GoGear Muse which looks rather similar to the more affordable GoGear Aria, although a quick peek at its specifications and features tell you otherwise. Displacing the Opus as the new king of the hill from Philips, the Muse will come with a slightly larger display at 3″, featuring a bigger range of file support including BMP, GIF, PNG, Ogg Vorbis, APE, Real Video, and Real Audio formats. You will also get a pair of in-ear headphones with active noise cancelling for a better listening experience on-the-go, obtaining 25 hours of audio playback or 5 hours of non-stop playback with video in terms of battery life. No word on availability in the US, but the Philips GoGear Muse is already available in Singapore for $233.55.
