Panasonic has rolled out half a dozen Let’s Note notebooks in the form of the F8, R8, W8, T8, S8 and N8. The first four are more or less the same as before, although they will now come with Windows 7 (when the operating system is available, of course) with a Windows XP downgrade in selected cases. We’re more interested in the S8 and N8, where they will feature an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, a 250GB hard drive, an Intel GM45 Express chipset, 765MB VRAM, 2GB/4GB RAM and a 12.1” WXGA LCD display. Other shared specifications include WiMAX and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet support, an SDHC memory card slot and HDMI out. What do you think of these new puppies? Are they worth your while?
