Now here’s a motherboard that you don’t see every day. The folks over at DFI probably decided that since a lot people own than one computer, they’d come up with a hybrid motherboard that can support two completely different configurations, and you can switch between them at will. With the Hybrid P45–ION-T2A2, you can setup a high-powered and low-powered computer if you wish. DFI demonstrated with an Atom processor and the common socket 775 processor living on the some motherboard. You could probably use the Atom for downloading torrents whilst you use the more powerful processor for your day-to-day tasks. It’s good to see DFI come up with something so different yet interesting.
