Hannah Perner-Wilson unveiled this soft stroke sensor that is equipped with a bunch of conductive thread and fabric. Whenever the sensor is stroked, the fibers will touch each other in a totally different manner compared to when they were at a standstill. Stroking the sensor will send a signal to a connected computer or microcontroller, and it would be interesting to see what kind of practical aspects this soft stroke sensor can be used in. A more interactive bunch of toys, perhaps?
