Optoma has rolled out a couple of new projectors – the Pro250X and Pro150S. These models will boast the latest in DLP display technology, offering a brightness level of 2,800 ANSI lumens and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. While the 250X comes with XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, the 150S is slightly less desirable no thanks to its SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. Regardless, either projector is able to offer full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution support (don’t ask us how), but this is rather gimped considering the connection panel only comes with composite, S-video, and VGA ports. Best to check out with the folks at Optoma if you want to confirm full HD support. Interested? The Optoma Pro250X and Pro150S will retail for $649 and $549, respectively.
