HP Mini 1000 touchscreen mod
Those who can’t wait for the Apple tablet might want to literally take things into their own hands with this highly modified HP Mini 1000 which sees a touchscreen panel being thrown into the mix, making a strong case for a cheap Intel Atom-based tablet. This mod is still in progress, but it has shown promise as initial testing points toward a working screen despite having its keyboard removed and display flipped the other side. Not the neatest of netbook-to-tablet mods, but it is something worth checking out.
