At least that’s the lofty standards that the MIT Electric Vehicle Team (EVT) has set for themselves. After all, they figured out that the main obstacle when it comes to using an electric vehicle would be its recharge times, and they are currently working on a new prototype family car that will see it hit the magical 0-60mph mark in less than 9 seconds, boasting a working range of 200 miles on a single full charge and the ability to juice up to the maximum in less than 11 minutes. Needless to say, this idea has been dubbed the elEVen, and we hope to see their labor of love come to fruition sooner rather than later – at a much cheaper price point, of course.
