SteelSeries is another name for serious gamers to consider, and they have just released a new gaming mouse known as the Xai. This ambidextrous ergonomic mouse was touted to take years or research to develop, according to the good folks at SteelSeries, where it comes with a precise laser sensor that is able to register a maximum of 5,000 CPI (counts per inch). In addition, it features a special OS-independent programmable seven-button scheme complete with an LCD located on the underside, where you can save all your configurations into its built-in memory without the need for any drivers. Folks who are on a tighter budget might want to consider the optical Kinzu, as this smaller and less nimble mouse will retail for $35, while the Xai is going for $80 a pop.
