Bang & Olufsen had always been a household name when it comes to high end home home AV systems, but this time round they’ve come up with an alarm clock known as the BeoTime. The BeoTime comes with an integrated sleep timer which is able to turn all Bang & Olufsen systems in the room into standby mode after a couple of hours. In addition, users will be able to use the BeoTime to control all basic functions of a TV, A/V receiver or lights. Features include a built-in tilt sensor which is capable of changing the orientation of the display and button functions, making it easy to be held in one hand alongside a thumb-operated motion for simple navigation. It is made out of an anodized and polished aluminum tube, boasting a trumpet-shaped button on one end which actually pops out whenever the alarm goes off, and you can push it right back in to turn the alarm off. Checking the current time at night is a snap thanks to its motion sensor and backlight. Expect to pick up the BeoTime later this August for $375. [Press Release]
