The Asus Eee Keyboard isn’t out yet, but for those who are not in the know, this is actually a keyboard that holds a whole computer within. The whole idea of this would be to hook up the keyboard to a HDTV via a wireless HDMI connection so that one is able to access Web content over a large screen TV, although that will surely affect your monthly power bill in the long run. When stripped of all its dignity as you see here, the Eee Keyboard will be powered by an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, with a solid state disk to store all your data alongside a battery. In addition, there is a 5″ touchscreen display at 800 x 480 resolution that enables you to use the keyboard without the need for an external display, although we’re not sure how long your eyes will hold up until they start protesting. The RAM does look soldered onto the motherboard, making chances of upgrading the memory to be rather slim. There is also a built-in fan to keep things running cool, which means it won’t be silent either.
