Synaptics hopes to usher in a new age of trackpad technology with its ClickPad trackpad, and will target netbooks this time round after making its rounds on the latest MacBooks and MacBook Pros. These ClickPads will play nice with Synaptic’s latest Gesture Suite 9.1, where it comprises of a whole slew of standard movement and gestures we’ve all come to know and love, including the three-finger flick and three-finger press, enabling your computer to start with half a dozen predetermined apps to boot. SGS 9.1 is already Windows 7 ready, so you need not fret about future compatibility issues when October 22nd rolls around.
