In the ideal world, that is. What you see here is the Iris – a device that rolls together a computer, router, switch and projector in a single form factor without breaking the bank – should it ever roll off manufacturing lines, the Iris will cost no more than a standard home computer, featuring a main hub which makes up the computer segment while doubling up as the charging station for the projector. This projector can throw up to a quartet of displays simultaneously, sticking to just about any surface thanks to an “advanced gecko dry adhesive material”. Gloves ala Minority Report will be used as the controllers, featuring accelerometers at hte fingertips alongside a gyroscope at the back of the hand . Don’t think this will hit the market anytime soon though as technology still has a long way to catch up with the idea.
