Green Energy Technologies has come up with a brand new wind power generator known as the WindCube which is smaller in size compared to the standard wind generator, and was specially designed to rest on the roof of a building in urban and rural areas. It measures a mere 22 x 22 x 12 feet in size, where a solitary unit is able to generate a maximum of 60kW of juice. It relies on the tried-and-tested Bernoulli Principal to capture wind, amplifying it along the way so that energy can be produced even at lowly wind speeds of just 5 mph. According to the manufacturer, an average wind speed of 15 mph on the WindCube is able to generate about 160,000 kWh of power annually.
