Asus is in their element, staying true to form with the release of yet another Seashell Eee PC – the 1005HA model. It will come with user-replaceable batteries alongside the option of choosing between the Intel Atom N270 or N280 processors. As for webcam capability, you can opt for 1.3-megapixle or 0.3-megapixel, while the operating system is restricted to Windows XP or GNU Linux. Other standard features thrown in are Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, Ethernet support, a 10″ display and a choice betwen 3-cell and 6-cell batteries that offer up to 4 and 8.5 hours of runtime, respectively. No idea on pricing in the US nor availability in this part of the world, but the N270-powered Eee PC 1005HA-M will go go €299 while the N280-powered Eee PC 1005HA-H is more expensive at €349 when they arrive in France within two months’ time.
