Motorola seems to have a penchant for milking its franchise dry – take the RAZR for example, where the idea was reused over and over again across a few generations of phones, making it a victim of its own success where the company has failed to recover since then. This time round, we caught sight of the Motorola A1210 that will be based strongly on the A1200 Ming which was released approximately 3 years ago. The A1210 is tipped to come with the following :-
- Linux OS
- Transparent flip
- 2.8″ TFT touchscreen at 240 x 400 resolution
- 3.1 megapixel camera
- Integrated FM radio
- Bluetooth connectivity
- 64MB internal memory
- microSD memory card slot
- TI OMAP850 processor
Since the Motorola A1210 won’t be supporting the 850MHz GSM band, chances are high this handset won’t make it Stateside.
