Dell Latitude E6400 XFR

Dell recently unveiled its second generation Latitude E6400 XFR notebook – not only is it power-packed to the brim, it is also one surprisingly tough cookie, capable of complying with the DoD’s MIL-STD 810F heat, dust and vibration requirements. In addition, the E6400 XFR is also equipped with PR481 “ballistic” armor that offers double the impact protection of magnesium alloy, making it man enough to stand up to direct blasts of pressurized water without missing a beat. An Intel Core 2 Duo processor runs things from within, and it will also come with a sunlight-readable 14.1″ WXGA display, a 256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M video card and an integrated Intel 4500MHD chipset. All these are crammed into a 2.2″ thick notebook chassis that tips the scales at 8.5-pounds. You will have to be rich to tumble with your gizmos tough, as prices for the E6400 XFR start from $4,299 upwards.
