The Zero is not only a CD player, it also does regular LPs as well. That’s fine and dandy since it remains in the realm of concepts, as as with other conceptual devices, you might as well make the most of it by introducing some rather outrageous features not available in this day and age. The Zero is one of them, where it is able to “read” gaps between the tracks, memorize them, and make it selectable – similar to how you handle a CD. The built-in auto recording feature can store up to 500GB worth of tracks, and it supports MP3, MP4 and WAV file formats among others. No idea on pricing if this is ever commercialized – how much are you willing to fork out for it?
