While there is no official word from Microsoft, it seems as though Nylon Magazine and Microsoft have partnered to bring a special edition pink Zune 30 that boasts a Nylon Factory Girl Dani Stahl design. As with many other things that are all pink, this Zune 30 glitters with diamond rings. Since it will be limited to just 1,000 units, you can bet your bottom (hard earned) dollar that this is going to be one expensive piece of equipment – or is it? We’re surprised to hear that prices start at $279 including shipping. Well, this special edition won’t rake in phenomenal Zune sales for Microsoft, but at least it is a pleasant departure from the standard colors on offer.
Update: Oops, this is not news. The device was available in 2007 – it was an original Zune etched for Dani Stahl. It is not on the market anymore.
