It worked with the Game Boy, the same thing happened with the Game Boy Advance and earlier iterations of the DS. As the adage goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Nintendo won’t be reinventing the (marketing) wheel when it announced more colors for the DSi handheld console, although these will only remain a Japan-only product (you can import them if you’re living outside of Japan but expect to pay a premium). Pink, green and metallic blue are the colors of choice from March 20th onwards. Hopefully when the DSi arrives at North American and European shores, all the released colors in Japan will also be made available then. Do you think new DSi colors will result in some crazy sales figures on that weekend?
