Guess what – Acer isn’t going to rest on its laurels with the apparent success of the Aspire One netbook and are already working hard to release a new model that boasts a much slimmer chassis compared to the recently unveiled 10″ D150 model. Apparently this mystery model will also come with an SD memory card slot that first appeared on the 8.9″ model, only to pull off a Houdini with the 10″ D150. Guess there is one logical explanation for the slimmer chassis – Acer has decided to plonk in an SSD instead of a hard drive. Not only that, the change in the VGA output and Ethernet ports position would mean an altered motherboard layout – hopefully for the better.
