Motorola, Sprint and Boost Mobile have formed a trinity to bring the Motorola Stature i9 to the masses. Touted to be the thinnest flip phone found in Nextel’s Direct Connect portfolio, the Motorola Stature i9 can be purchased via Boost from the end of this month onwards, while folks who are loyal to Sprint will have to wait for a short while more after that. The 15mm slim Motorola Stature i9 will feature the following :-
- 3.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash
- External keys
- Integrated GPS
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Memory card slot (presumably microSD)
Sprint Nextel will carry the Motorola Stature i9 for $199.99 with a two-year service agreement, and that is also after a $50 mail-in rebate. Folks who want to get theirs from Boost Mobile will have to fork out $299.99, although that means you won’t be tethered to a contract or subjected to credit check or activation fees.
