IntoPlay PSOne Mod

The PSOne is but a distant memory by now, but that doesn’t mean this old school console’s memory should be treated with contempt. A modder from Ben Heck’s forum has taken the innards of a PSOne and thrown it into a portable form factor, even placing his very own kit for sale so that you can concoct your own version in the basement to impress friends. Chances are they’ll drool at it but return to their DS Lites and PSPs after a while. For an optimal machine, it is best that you settle for a 5.4″ display (that’s about the maximum you should go) as well as a screen motherboard that does not measure more than 4mm thick including components. Meant for fanboys and hardcore modders only, while the rest of us sit back and admire such dedication to the cause.
