Ecobee Smart Thermostat Ships
The Ecobee Smart Thermostat was first announced last October, and the device came with manufacturer claims that one is able to recoup the cost of its $385 price tag within 12 to 18 months of use. For those of us with a skeptical eye, why not put this claim to the test? After all, the Smart Thermostat isn’t exactly a waste of money when it comes to using energy in a more efficient manner. This WiFi-enabled home automation tool also comes with ZigBee expansion slots and will cost an additional $35 access fee for the first year of use.
