BenQ GP1 Mobile Projector

BenQ displayed their GP1 mobile projector at the Texas Instruments booth for all and sundry to have a looksee at the recently concluded CES 2009, and this nifty device is capable of showing movies, images as well as office applications that run straight off a USB flash drive without the need for a notebook acting as a middleman. Guess technology is cutting out more and more bridges in-between to make our lives easier, which is a good thing. The BenQ GP1 will make its way to BenQ’s electronic stores and retail channels sometime this March for $599 a pop. Don’t expect drop dead gorgeous images from this, as long as it is functional, we should be happy.
