Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360 Soon?
The above image was spotted on the Konami site early yesterday. Could Konami be hinting that the Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4, see trailer) would be on the Xbox 360? MGS4 is currently a PS3-title only and it’s unclear if there was a financial arrangement with Sony or if Konami simply did not have the time and resources to build two versions simultaneously. MGS4 ‘s game engine is using very low-level code PS3.
The hint is at least enough to keep fans drooling in anticipation. Remember though, this seems to be a hint, not a certainty. Don’t get your hopes too high – who knows.
We know many people who bought the PS3 simply for MGS4 and other such titles. This would be an Xbox 360 seller, especially if Konami manages to sneak-in a few extras.
