In addition, this interesting photo site has a social networking component and some unique features: an easy to use protection system that allows the photo owners to custom-watermark their work, a link management feature that monitors who is linking to the photos with a LinkBlock option, a simple money management interface, an events section where users can invite people to share the photos they have taken at events, and a neat contest section that can be branded by the organizer and advertised on the web with badges. The contextual in-picture text ad is also pretty clever, it generates additional revenues in a non-intrusive way by displaying relevant sponsored information inside a photo: publishers and bloggers can use photos for free and the photographers get paid on every click.
