Toyota’s I-Unit personal mobility concept car has already picked up rave reviews due to its looks, but unfortunately the public aren’t too adventurous in picking up this design at this point in time. The Toyota I-Real is a natural evolution of the I-Unit, constructed from lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic, boasting operating controls located in the side arm rests in lieu of a steering wheel. The I-Real has a maximum speed of 18.6mph and will be able to go from an upright position to a reclined position for its High-Speed Mode. Should this actually roll off production lines, would you pick this up over the Segway?
