Epson has spanking new printers that claim to be “ultra high-definition”, but just how clear the printouts are remains to be seen. The three models are the R280, the RX595, and the RX680 that will ship sometime next month for $99.99, $149.99, and $199.99 respectively. The trio will feature six-color inks to help save cost in the long run, full bleed printouts, the ability to print on optical media like CDs and DVDs, and a blazing fast print speed of up to 40 pages per minute. You can hook them up via the standard USB cable or use an optional Bluetooth wireless adapter if you have jumped onto the wireless bandwagon already. Do expect to see rivals HP and Canon launch their “counterattack” soon.
