The Thomson A1 is hailed as the smallest personal media player in the world, featuring a 3″ widescreen TFT display that appears to take up virtually the entire front part. Specifications wise, it is nothing much to shout about, with an integrated FM tuner and support for both popular audio and video formats making the list. The A1 will soon arrive in China in two flavors – 4GB and 8GB, where the former retails for $120 and the latter is not much less expensive at $106. No idea if these will ever make their way Stateside, but don’t expect too much fanfare if they do.
