NYC could receive taxis of the future

The Taxi ’07 exhibition in New York currently showcases concepts and prototypes of future NYC cabs, where most of them focus on improving accessibility for the disabled while others prefer to take the green route (and by green I mean the environment and not money). The Standard Taxi you see on the right offers more than ample space to store a wheelchair, while a taxi-specific powertrain releases less emissions and improves fuel consumption.
