The Voice Interactive Alarm Clock is a unique device as it is capable of responding to verbal commands, but the extent of its sensitivity is still something to be concerned with as different people carry their own accents depending on the country of origin. Some of the voice activated commands available include “What time is it,” “Play Memo,” “Night Light,”, “Any Alarms”, and the big daddy of them all, “Snooze”. I sometimes wonder, with the snooze button on alarm clocks, does it actually encourage people to sleep in longer and thus defeating its purpose of getting one out of bed? Hammacher is carrying the Voice Activated Alarm Clock for $59.95.
