I-Port medication injection port

There are those among us who aren’t afraid to wrestle with crocodiles, and yet would cringe at the sight of a syringe. Patton Medical Devices of Texas has developed the I-Port medication injection port that aims to deliver a more precise and easier self-administrative injection method. Although it does not do much to lessen the pain associated with the needle, the entire process looks set to be much safer and hygienic. The I-Port is intended to be primarily used by diabetics, but it was designed for subcutaneous drug delivery as well. The I-Port works by guiding a small, flexible tube beneath the skin which makes it easier to deliver medication at a later period. The I-Port can accomodate a maximum of 75 injections within 3 days, which is a whole lot no matter how you look at it.
