I would like to suggest a more expensive Titanium version. Co-Published with gadgetryblog |
Forget performance, these dodecahedron enclosures, errm 12-inch speaker units, look awesome.
The SA-355i uses an aluminium casting process and a high-quality/high-rigidity metal cabinet designed for the dodecahedron shape. The main axis of each full-range unit crosses at the centre of the dodecahedron, creating a crossing position that achieves ‘point-sourced acoustics’, thus producing a natural sound radiating 360-degrees.
Unfortunately, you’re going to have to have deep pockets – they sell for $3150 a pair (including a sound equaliser, tabletop stand, and cables).
