Instagram today announced that it has added the questions sticker in Stories. This will allow the user’s followers to submit questions for them to answer. Instagram also added a polling feature in Stories which lets users take input from their followers about anything under the sun. Instagram bills the questions sticker as a fun new way to start conversations.
Instagram users can now add a question sticker to their story from the sticker tray after they take a photo or video. They then type a prompt and place the sticker wherever they like.
When their followers see the sticker, they can tap on it to reply as many times as they want from the sticker. The responses will be displayed in the story’s viewers list. Users can tap any question they have asked to create a new story with the answer and the question they’re answering will appear on the story for context.
Users will be able to see who submitted each response in their viewers’ list where it will be private. When they share the response in their story, that follower’s photo and username will not be shown.
Instagram confirms that the questions sticker is now live in Instagram version 52 on both Android and iOS.
