Apple is predicted to offer its 2018 iPhones in a variety of colors. Famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has made some predictions about the company’s upcoming smartphones and he hints at a wider range of colors. Kuo has also predicted the price points for the OLED and LCD iPhone models due this year.

Kuo predicts that the iPhone X’s successor is going to be priced around $1,000 much like the existing handset while the 6.1 inch LCD iPhone may cost around $700. The new iPhones are said to come in a variety of colors. The OLED iPhone may be available in black, white, and a new gold hue whereas the LCD model may be offered in grey, white, blue, red, and orange colors.

There have been whispers that Apple is going to expand the color options for the LCD iPhone and Kuo’s prediction suggests that there may be some truth to this after all. It’s unclear, though, if the red option refers to a new shade of red for the device or just the PRODUCT(RED) variant.

Hopefully, there will be more clarity on the matter in the months to come. We obviously can’t expect Apple to confirm anything about the new iPhones at this point in time. The company is expected to unveil the new iPhones later this year, likely around September.
