Google today announced that it’s introducing an improved Google Account experience for Android devices. The new experience brings features that will enable users to more easily navigate their account and configure the more prominent security and privacy options. They will find detailed summaries of relevant information associated with their account.
The relevant information includes personal information, devices, payment methods, purchases, subscriptions, contacts, and reservations.
The new Google Account experience comes with features that make it easier to review and control data associated with the account. There’s a new search feature that lets users find settings and other information that they might be looking for. There’s a new dedicated support section as well where users can find help with common tasks such as upgrading account storage. They can even get answers from community experts.
Google has also introduced a new intuitive design so that users can more easily find their Activity controls in the Data & Personalization tab aside from selecting what types of activity data are saved in their account. The recently updated Privacy Checkup will be found here as well for reviewing privacy settings.
Google says that this new experience has gone live on Android today and will be available on iOS and the web later this year.
