Given how popular Fortnite Battle Royale is, it’s not surprising that many are flocking to the game to see what all the fuss is about. Of course this also means that many newbies to the game will inevitably find themselves in situations where they’ll be outmatched by more seasoned players.
The good news is that Epic is doing something about it by launching a four-player Playground practice mode. This is essentially a shrunken down version of the main game where you get to play with three other friends. This means that players will be able to play and practice their skills before joining main games, ideal for those who are new to the game.
They will also be given up to an hour to play without having to worry about the storm which will only begin closing in during the final five minutes of a match. While ideal for beginners, we reckon that the Playground will also be a good fit for seasoned players who are looking to further hone their skills or to safely test out new strategies.
The Playground will be part of the v4.5 patch that was recently rolled out to the game, although as Epic notes on Reddit, the feature is down for now but they are working on getting it back up.
