There is no doubt many who are curious as to what the former President of the United States Barack Obama and his family are up to these days. This is why there have been rumors swirling around that companies such as Apple, Amazon, and Netflix are looking to sign him and his family to their network.
For those who are subscribed to Netflix, you’ll be pleased to learn that the deal is official as the company has announced that they have signed both Barack Obama and Michelle Obama to a multi-year deal which includes films and series, both scripted and unscripted, as well as docu-series and/or documentaries.
President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series for Netflix, potentially including scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features.

No additional details were shared, such as when these series might launch or what they might be about specifically, so we guess we’ll just have to wait. What makes this interesting is like we said, there were reports that Amazon and Apple were also interested in signing the Obamas to a picture deal, and the fact that Netflix beat them to the punch is a pretty huge coup for him.
In fact there might have been signs in the past that suggested that Netflix could have been close, based on a report from back in March earlier this year.
