Amazon sells many things, but in recent times the company has started to sell smart home devices like smart locks, but it seems they are expanding their smart home offerings by selling home security services and packages. This is according to a recently discovered page in which Amazon has listed various security packages/bundles that they are offering to customers.
What packages are these? Basically instead of just selling customers the hardware, Amazon will also be providing customers with installation and also services that will help keep their security systems up and running. There are five different packages offered to customers, with the cheapest being the Outdoor Base which is priced at $240, and going up to $840 for the “Smartest” package which essentially covers almost everything.
What is contained in these packages depends on what you’ve chosen, but they range from sirens to motion sensors, safety sensors, cameras, indoor and outdoor lighting, a video doorbell (which sees Amazon leveraging their acquisition of Ring), and an Echo Dot speaker in which users can use Alexa to control these devices with. If this sounds like something you might be interested in in case you don’t want to figure out what kind of devices you’ll need, then head on over to Amazon’s website for the details.
